Plutonians

CO-WRITTEN WITH MAX DENBY

Plutonians is a quarter hour sci-fi comedy pilot produced for SyFy and NBCUniversal. It follows the tiny, dweeby aliens of Pluto as they try to get their cred back with the other aliens of the solar system after losing their planet status. Their tactics involve a plan to kidnap Neil Degrasse Tyson, throwing wild parties and attempting to own their loser identity. Featuring the voices of PJ Byrne (The Wolf of Wall Street, Big Little Lies), Kara Luiz (Hacks), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), and Colton Dunn (Superstore, Parks and Recreation).

I co-created this project along with Max Denby, building the initial pitch deck, creating the characters and building out the series’ world. I co-wrote the script and co-executive produced the pilot from pre-production through to delivery. I also served as the lead character designer. The project was produced by Brave Media and Yeti Farm Creative. The project was created as a part of Syfy’s TZGZ programming block before it was discontinued in early 2021.

Bebe The Butcher

Bebe the Butcher is a half-hour animated comedy about a teenage eco-loving vegetarian who happens to be deeply Italian. Bebe is able to justify working in her parents’ Butcher shop due to her love to family – until her parents reveal their shop is a front for disappearing bodies for the mob, and she must join the real family business. 

Now she must find a way to ‘green’ the mob and take on her family legacy in a way that makes sense for her... and doesn’t get her caught or killed.

When she discovers he may not be over his famous ex-girlfriend, their relationship and her self worth are thrown into question.
