BBC - The Klitschko guide to failure

The Klitschko guide to failure is an interview with boxer Wladimir Klitschko where he discusses what he has learned from failure alongside a series of animated segments based on his story.

For this project, I created storyboards, color palettes and style frames, working in collaboration with a producer for BBC. Once we nailed a look I designed and executed animations for the segments throughout the video.

BBC - Funny talk: Lane Moore’s public speaking lessons

In Funny talk comedian Lane Moore reflects on her journey to finding confidence in public speaking in an interview-style video with accompanying animated video segments based on her interview.

Afroman & Kid Lennon - “Cuz I’m High” Remix

A music video for a remix version of Afroman’s “Cuz I got high” featuring Kid Lennon. For this project I worked with the director to create a series of 1970’s inspired psychedelic animations that played off of the artists’ style and interacted with the video components.

In addition to creating the animations, I keyed and composited all of graphics and video, and provided the final color correction pass for the video.

The Pembrook Brothers

The Pembrook Brothers is a web series written and directed by Anna Garcia (Fly Me to The Moon, Hacks) and Gabrielle DeCaro (“Anti Hero” Taylor Swift) where the two play brother artists looking to make a career comeback.

For this project I served as the animation director, creating an opening title sequence as well as on-screen animations that interplay with the video throughout the series. These animations include recurring animated egg characters, a Lizzie McGuire style animated version of Anna, a Spongebob style cut-in close up, and various on-screen illustrations.

Additionally I created a series of promotional short animations and all of the project’s branding for Youtube. I also have a cameo in Episode 8.

Invisidex - Type-E Inspection Lacquer

A promotional video for the company Invisidex that explains how DNA works and how their product, Type-E Inspection Laquer, uses DNA to create a security method for encypting specific data onto products, in addition to it’s adhesive function.

For this video, I wrote the script, created storyboards, and recorded a voiceover artist in addition to executing the final animation. I directed the entire project from concept to final delivery.
